Bari Fitzgerald’s has a strong association with the Appleby Tavern’s blues nights and both Dave Hogan and Vaughan Mackay performed there in 2010 when the band had a reunion for part of the band. For 2011 it was inevitable then that the fully reformed Unknown Blues would turn up at the Appleby to play a few songs, especially since Marty Astone had made the trip from far away Perth for the Unknown Blues band’s reunion gig, and a course a reunion of his own.
