2011 Unknown Blues Reunion - Sound Check Workingmen’s Club Sat 25 Sep

The Unknown Blues reunion show was held in conjunction with the 2011 Southland Rock and Roll Hall of Fame event.  The venue was the Invercargill Workingmen’s Club on Don St.  The stage was set up in the corner of one of the 3 large function rooms right in front of a sizeable dance floor.  The stage seemed a bit cramped but this is not unusual as bands are generally used to working in confined spaces.  The sound system was provided and operated by Taff Hewton Sound Systems.  Taff has spent most of his lifetime involved in the local music industry both as a musician and now as a provider of technical services. The bands that turned up for the sound check included:
